Founder Story
In 2005, our President & CEO, Shawn Fielding, volunteered on the Architectural Review Committee for his HOA. He spent countless hours reading email chains and attending in-person meetings, he knew there had to be a better way to manage Home Owner Associations.
An entrepreneur at heart, and with a background in technology, Shawn developed online software to review, vote on, and approve architectural projects. Everyone loved his new solution and how it streamlined the review process with faster approvals. With this revelation, Shawn decided to leave his career at Dell Computers and focus solely on his new software creation —three years later, Smartwebs Inc. was born.
As our software offerings continue to grow and expand, one thing remains the same: the mission of Smartwebs is to provide powerful, time-saving solutions for the HOA market.
